A volatile oil produced by steam distillation of the flowers of Lavandula angustifolia P Miller (Family Laminaceae). The oil has an intense floral odour with very low camphor levels, characteristic of True Lavender and suitable for use in fine fragrances. Crops are harvested in January with stock usually available year round.
